RESEARCH HELP WANTED!

FGS receives several e-mails each month from people outside the area who would like to obtain copies of obituaries and funeral notices from the Tampa Tribune or St. Petersburg Times on microfilm at the John F. Germany Library. This is a moneymaker for the society because we charge $15.00 per hour for the research and $ .25 per copy. However, the work can be be done before or after our regular monthly meeting OR on another visit you might make to the library.

We would like someone to conduct the research, create an invoice to the requester (from a form document), and mail the copies and the invoice to the requester. You can then request reimbursement for the costs of the photocopies, envelope, stamps, etc. from the FGS Treasurer.
