News from Other Societies

The South Bay Genealogical Society will meet on Tuesday, 15 January at the Little harbor Restaurant. Ann Young will present a program, "Seventhousandandseventysixseamen." The presentation will discuss about the 1/5 of the population of Sweden and Norway who immigrated to the U.S. and Canada.


The Pinellas Genealogical Society will hold its 2008 Seminar on 26 January 2008 at the Largo Public Library, 120 Central Park Drive in Largo, Florida. The speaker will be Rhonda R. McClure, presenting four topics. Registration begins at 8:00 AM and door prizes will be raffled off during the day.
